"Nice property, clean, great location, easy free parking. Only issue, the shower is poorly desingned. Shower has one fixed door and one sliding door. But the shower head is located on the far side of the shower with the fixed door and there is no diverter, so you are forced to enter the shower to turn on the water. And because it takes time for the water to warm up, you get a blast of cold water. If you are taller and have long arms you can reach in and turn on the water and only expose your arm the the cold shower. But for those more petite individuals, showering includes a temporary cold toture before you can enjoy a warm shower. The complimentary breakfast is standard and good. Bed is comfortable. We have stayed many times and will return, despite the disappointing shower design."

"This is a beautiful upscale traditional hotel, with expansive gardens, landscaping and resort feel. Located in a quiet upscale residential neighborhood, it's just three minute or so drive to local shopping, museums (the Huntington, Norton Simon etc.) and other entertainment. The hotel offers several restaurants, including afternoon tea and a lively Bar (the Tap Room) with live music. Staff was friendly and professional. Would definitely return when staying in Pasadena and/or the LA area."
