I’ve received an email from Expedia informing me where to go for the check-in. The location is NOT where the apartment is, but in a restricted area. I would have needed a permit to reach the place for the check in. Did not get any and when asked for help, the staff via WhatsApp was rude.
Via WhatsApp I’ve received different information on how to access the apartment.
I will receive a ticket because I went to their offices for check in!!!!
Also, I’ve asked for WIFI password and the answer via WhatsApp was: we already gave it to you. What manners are these???!!??
Anyhow, be ready for bad assistance and bad A/C.

Very stressful and disappointing experience with this property. Despite the listing stating that check-in was available in person between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM, the host contacted me via WhatsApp, asking for personal information without any prior notice or confirmation through Expedia.
I asked multiple times to continue communication through Expedia's chat, but the host ignored those requests and insisted on using WhatsApp — which goes against Expedia’s own safety guidelines. Even worse, the host completely stopped responding to messages and phone calls the evening before my arrival (well within the advertised reception hours) and did not reply until late the next morning.
This left me feeling unsafe and unsupported in a foreign country, and I had no choice but to book a different accommodation last minute. No traveler should be put in that position.
I don’t recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe and reliable booking experience.

I booked the hotel while I was on the road via Hotels.com and did not scroll to the bottom of the page where is showed the reception had closed prior to my booking time, After discussions with Hotels.com the refund was refused. There is 3 issues.
1. The booking was made after closing. This should not have been allowed
2. The hotel should have refunded the money
3. I will check the fine print more and use another booking site
Be careful as this place closes at 18:30 for checkin honestly a time when people finishing work are still on the road.
No Breakfast, no Check in desk, all in all a bad experience

El check in fue rapido, es a dos calles del lugar.
La llegada al lugar buena ( no mires el estado por fuera de el, cuando abres la puerta del hotel estando dentro es otra muy buena )
El balcon amplio y todo limpio.
Tienes buena comunicación con el personal.
Tienes caja fuerte.
Tiene secadora de cabello.
Elevador.
Alrededor hay muchos cafes y bares.

La chambre est splendide. Elle donne sur la rue, le double vitrage est de très bonne qualité mais on entend quand même le bruit extérieur (on est habitué à la campagne).
Pas de parking et stationnement compliqué ! Nous avons finalement trouvé la rue le long de Porto mirabello à 50cts/h de 8h à 20h. On peut stationner 2h devant l'hôtel si on trouve de la place à 1,5€/h.
Attention, il n'y a pas de réception, personne dans l'hôtel. Simplement des boîtes à clés pour prendre l'ascenseur (chambre au 3eme étage avec de très haut plafonds). Et donc personne à qui demander une couverture ou un oreiller. La communication s'est faite par WhatsApp.

The check in process was horrible. We received an email telling us to attend their offices, we did and there was no one there. We assumed that they were closed for lunch so kept checking back. Eventually we called and emailed them and they told us that the office was not manned and that check in was all automated.
At the site, another customer banged on our door because they couldn't get the automated exit door to work for them. It took us a couple of minutes to figure it out IF this was an emergency due to a fire, people would have died. This door NEEDS to be replaced with an emergency exit feature.

So I have some very clear feedback for this place. The unit was very good and was very convenient to go to CinqueTerre villages.
BUT - and it’s a major “BUT” - the service was TERRIBLE. First of all - the person managing the checkin was only doing this over WhatsApp. He won’t take a phone call, won’t answer my concerns on WhatsApp and will just send instructions that were inportant to him (for eg pay this city tax etc.)
We were traveling were kids - so wanted to understand bed configuration etc. The guy on WhatsApp would never respond properly, was very curt and only texted when he wanted to give us some instructions. We never once felt welcome.
The AC wasn’t working the first night - but, ofcourse, the person on WhatsApp with us never cared to apologize for that. For the second night - we had to keep following up (delicately - because we were worried the guy will get upset and just stop caring to respond) and never felt the person was accountable to solve it.
We were shocked by the lack of customer service. And inspite the good property, I don’t intend to come here again.
I will recommend hotels.com to reconsider keeping them on their list. I can guarantee we aren’t the first one shocked by this lack of customer service. Also - just go scroll the feedback these guys are getting on the internet. Very similar to what I have raised here. I request you guys to reconsider being affliated to them!

In spite of no personnel present at check in, it went quite smoothly after reading all instructions. Room was immaculate and well equipped. Electronics are very well accommodated. Would highly recommend.
