"What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again. "

"Staff was fantastic, so helpful, early check in by 9AM after the overnight ferry from Nice. Room well equipped w kettle and frig, well located just up the street from the Tourist office and large town square. The tourist train took us around town through the old port and up to the citadel. "Great to have a construction crane right outside to make it easy to find. Kind of unsightly but I liked it. Warm beer. Too bad. I thought 1 room had a small fridge but the next time it did not. Good shower, you gotta like that. Helpful front desk. Overall, I would do it again."

"We had a 2 room suite complete with full kitchen, plates, pots and pans, coffee pot, microwave and hot burners, view of the swimming pool and for a great price. Early check in after some minimal time spent finding us a 1st floor room, due to no elevator, but all in all very accommodating and friendly. We had to walk a few blocks to find an open restaurant but we were right up the hill from the train station. The tiny tourist train took us through the old Town and up to the citadel and a small but fine museum we really enjoyed. The tourist information Center was up by the museum also. The hotel pool wasn't opened yet for the season but green lawn and picnic tables were nice. Only a little student noise at night but I think it was spring break. Nice garden cat! Very helpful staff, they gave me cakevto eat while waiting for room and help with our luggage. Great bargain and very friendly staff."

"Close to the beach, gated for security, quiet location but restaurant supermarket and pharmacy less than 5 minutes walk away. Pool clean and quiet. Lovely location and wooded surroundings on the complex. Best to hire a car to get here or to get to Bastia town as taxi fare from airport was 40 euros one way and 40 euros to Bastia town one way."
