「Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

「I stayed at Kootney Resorts for about 10 days for work and it was fantastic! Trish and Kyle were lovely hosts and tremendously helpful. Kyle in particular helped me repair some of my equipment, gave me all sorts of useful info on where to find things, and hooked me up withe the best cuisine in the area (he's a chef so he knows which places to eat). 「Burkey's place is beautiful, well stocked and relaxing! We went with two young kids, and we enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes and make dinner, while still being in a unique Jungle setting. Would definitely recommend, especially to a couple or two couples traveling together. 」

「Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment.
