「A lovely place with caveats - it is on the shore of a Seine canal - whatever gave me the impression (now I am not sure if it was a picture or in the hotel description) of a beach, was wrong. Also "free parking" offered to be taken literally or technically - it is street parking on the side of the canal; not guaranteed but seemingly hotel confident it can accomodate all guests with vehicles. we arrived late in the evening and due to the seemingly very popular restaurant on site there was zero...

「The property has a magnificent setting on Seine river halfway between Giverny and Rouen. Tremendous riverview garden and balconies. Restaurant has very good food including breakfast & dinner! 「I think you would describe this hotel as rustic. Perfectly serviceable and comfortable enough, but somewhat run down. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great.」
