"We stayed at the BW State Fair Inn in Sedalia after my first day on a through ride on the Katy Trail. The hotel was an old style "doors-on-the-outside" hotel circa the 1970s and no elevator to the second floor. However, the experience there was very good. The staff was very efficient and friendly upon check in. The rooms were spotless, the water hot and the beds very clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next day was excellent. Real, organic scrambled eggs rather than the powdered eggs you get from some of the other hotel chains. We ended up making breakfast tacos with the eggs and leftover fajitas in the microwave which were delicious. The hotel was only a couple of minutes from the Fairgrounds trailhead which was very convenient. "

"When the ac froze up and I called the desk he said he would be right there. Within 5 minutes his wife and him were right there to look at it. Told me that they would be right back with a replacement. 10 minutes later they had it replaced with a brand new ac unit that worked great. They had great communication with each step in fixing the issue. Very polite."

"The shower is amazing!!! I had a hard work out before coming in and the shower has this powerful massaging mode or modes I should say. My rotator cuff was off and my ears weren't popping. Not anymore!!! I can breathe and I feel amazingly popped from my head to my toes!!! Now a great night's sleep in this roomy bed is all a person could ever dream of....."
