"This was our 3rd overnight stay. A good location between Santander and Costa Del Sol. Next time will be our return journey when we plan staying 2 nights and exploring the area in my little sports car. See DocksideGlyn for videos of that."

"The rooms are Spartan with paper, thin walls. To access the sleeping area you must climb a set of stairs. Two stars is accurate description of the accommodations. However, the location is awesome inside a castle. The restaurant was wonderful. The food was delicious. I would definitely seek out the restaurant again."

"Clean, simple room. Parking on the street was not explained so we got a ticket, had to figure out what to do. "

"Found Hotel Paloma very last minute when we needed a stopover before heading on to Valencia, and it worked perfectly. The biggest plus for us was the secure parking—there’s a private, gated courtyard, which was ideal for our van. It’s also opposite a police station in a quiet little town, so it felt very safe. We had a twin room overlooking the parking area, which meant it was nice and quiet. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. We arrived late and popped next door for a drink and some tapas, which was convenient. Breakfast was included at the hotel, but there was also a very nice bakery in the square about 5 mins walk from the hotel. Overall, a solid choice for a quick overnight stay. Comfortable, practical, and stress-free. Would happily stay again if passing through."
