「The hotel is run by Lydia, who was extremely accommodating and welcoming to us all, including to our family dog. The hotel is a charming little hotel, in the countryside, run in a very personal way. It was in a strategic position too, when travelling across France, either to or from the Euro tunnel / Calais ferries.」

「We have 2 wonderful days in Troyes. - The house: a new construction woods, very beautiful floor height. - The breakfast: home made confiture, “citron vert & tomate vert “ is my favorite one. - The beds: very confortable and super clean. - The spa and sauna: it is the perfect choice after a long day of the shopping. 「As soon as the gate was opened we knew we had arrived at a special Chambre d'hote. The property was well maintained, welcoming hosts and very comfortable and ekegant rooms. We had a delightful evening meal with the hosts and another couple. We are on a cycle holiday and were thrilled to have our laundry done for us overnight. In the morning our bikes had even been turned to the direction we were going to travel.」

We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive.
