「This is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Laguna de Apoyo. Location is rustic and beautiful. Food is excellent. Staff is incredible. They arranged transportation which was a plus. You can order things, meals, to your room and pay an itemized bill with your card at check out. I can't say enough about the place.」

「We didn’t use the pool; however, the gentleman at the front desk in the mornings spoke good English and he was able to help us get our clothes washed and dried for a fee which was most helpful. The two ladies who greeted us when we arrived in the afternoon were very friendly and welcoming. The housekeeper did an excellent job at keeping the room clean. It was very walkable to a bank, restaurants and the park. We would definitely stay here again.」

「The rooms are huge. Two beds in a loft and one bed on the main. No exterior windows so very dark and reasonably cool. Design of shower makes it drain into the bathroom and basically flood the place. Breakfast is ok but only comes with coffee, not even water for kids or non coffee drinkers. Room in front was super noisy as the staff from the two desks would talk to each other loudly starting at around 6:30 am. Pool is good shout for kids and open 8-8.」

「Terrible experience — I do not recommend this hotel. I booked and paid for my reservation through Expedia. When I arrived, I was told there would be an additional $20 charge because my reservation was for one person and my husband was with me. They agreed to $10, which I paid.
