The owners & managers so so kind & helpful. It was a unique experience. All 4 of us got our own bed! The only thing missing was a microwave.

Très bon hôtel!

Le meilleur rapport qualité prix de la Fortuna! Pour une somme vraiment modique, vous ayez accès à un hôtel tout en bois et en couleurs, avec des espaces communs très agréables. Cuisine commune. Accueil très chaleureux, ambiance familiale. L’hotel Ne compte que 5 chambres, ce qui rend l’ambiance conviviale. Un peu en retrait de l’agitation et du bruit de la ville, il est très calme. Excellente connexion internet! Très bon petit déjeuner pour 5 dollars (les pancakes sont délicieux!). Bémol: pas de serviettes de toilette!

Tico living.

This place is wonderful for the travler who doesn't want to be right in the middle of town, but still close enough to walk to everything. Also this is tico living not for those who want a hotel.

Wonderful hostel! Great value!

This was a wonderful stay! Extremely good value! It was a little unknown to drivers and such and it's name confuses it with another hostel in town so it is easier to say that it is across from the "Villa Vilma". We were thoroughly impressed and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great Hostel in La Fortuna

We stayed two nights there. The host was super kind and friendly. If you need anything, just ask her. We loved our staying in Hostel Arenal La Fortuna. I would stay there again.

Terrible

Dirty, smelly, noisy, no hot water, uncomfortable bed. Arenal hostel and Hostel Arenal are not the same place , check two time before reservation. The only things that was OK was that the staff are welcoming. Don't go there.

I wouldn't go expecting anything fancy, but the price is right and the woman managing the place is very friendly and accommodating. Place is a little tough to find, its down the alley to the side of the shopping center and looks like a private residence.

Homely, away from the tourist chaos

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, a little difficult to find though. Friendly owner along with friendly dogs and pig! A nice porch area to sit and read also.
