「I lived at the ground floor. There is no air conditioning at the season. Hotel manager said I had to open the window. But it is doubtful if it is safe. People could easily climb into my room.」

「The property overall is beautiful and the staff were all very helpful. Unfortunately our room did not have a mini refrigerator which is unusual for a 4 star hotel and when I booked I thought all the rooms came with one but I was informed not ours, which was very inconvenient. The pool area is lovely but there are no pool towels readily available and they frequently run out when they were requested. 「Beautiful property great location. My major issue was with the air-conditioning. There was none. It was a hot day in Amboise and the room was stifling. I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. I spoke to the front staff who said their heating and cooling were an eco-friendly system that didn’t work well on extreme temperature days. Other than that lovely day.」

「This is our go-to for travel in and out of Tours since it’s immediately adjacent to the TGV station. It’s always clean and the staff always pleasant. Everyone we have encountered also speaks pretty good English. This is not a fancy-pants hotel with luxe appointments, but always reliable. They have a parking lot and excellent little pates de fruits bonbons at the reception desk.」
