We had an excellent time at the Oasi Encantada in Barahona, the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 The service provided was OUTSTANDING! Oasi has a family atmosphere that makes you feel like you are at home. The Air conditioning for the rooms are too small they where not able to cool the entire room. We have to turn a pedestal fan they had in the room and even like that we coukd not sleep well. The hotel itselft is very nice and clean but the pool was also not clean so we could not use it. We where there right after a big storm that might have been the reason fornthe pool to be green but still it was not useble. The staff is very nice ans courteous if they had invest a litoe be more on the air conditioning it woukd of been a 4 start review for sure.

Arrived to find no real parking. When we checked in were told the credit card machine was not working and we needed to pay cash----i said no fix your machine and well pay when its fixed--she ran the card and it went through with an approval code. Room was ok- no ac or fan in bedroom-walls need new paint- had hot water one of 3 days. Fridge is in a closet you can not open door without lifting fridge and moving its so tight. Hot tub had no hot water or way to become hot. Coffee was a thick burnt black oily substance-food was ok at best but rest of barahona food no better except playa azul rest was decent. Went to checkout and told needed to pay- i showed receipt with approval code and told "yes but that was another girl that ran your card, not me" What? I said I have my reciept and it shows paid and we left.

A DECOUVRIR SANS HESITER

Je vis en République dominicaine depuis 3 ans. Cet hôtel très récent est une excellente surprise ! Un séjour très agréable. Attention exceptionnelle. La piscine est divine et le lieu très calme et reposant. Le restaurant est ouvert toute la journée ce qui aide grandement à passer un très bon séjour ! J'y retourne d'ailleurs une nuit en famille. Situé à 2h de Pedernales, c'est un très bon choix pour une excursion à la journée vers la côte sud et Bahia de las aguilas oú le logement est loin d'être optimal.

Juan was above-beyond with his excellent customer services, the entire staff was really nice and attentive. The location sparkle clean!! The only problem which is a big disadvantage is the payment issue. Cash or transfer. This situation will hinder alot people from enjoying this nice cozy and private location.

We arrived at this hotel to find a very nice staff and a very clean and well kept hotel. The pool is very nice and the room was spacious with a nice air conditioner and small kitchen. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was good and again the staff very quick and willing to serve always with a smile. There was only one miner thing we could have done without. The music. They had loud music at night with karaoke and we decided to embrace it and listen to it while sitting at dinner, at this hotel there is the pool and restaurant area and the rooms are right smack in front of it. After we went to our room to sleep there was no escaping the music and singing, It is loud so even in your room you hear i as if you were sitting in the pool area. Thankfully by 11 pm it stopped. It was a Saturday so maybe it only goes on on weekends..not sure but we still enjoyed the hotel.

The property was very well kept. The staff was welcoming and made me and my family feel at home. My favorite was the view of the beach from our apartment. I would visit Oasi again without hesitation.
