The location is good. The ocean view by the pool is beautiful. Rooms were just okay. Air conditioner didn’t work and there are no screens on the windows so wasps and bugs were coming in forcing us to close them. Towels are small and scratchy and bathroom is very small.

Skøn beliggenhed, meget hjælpsom værtspar. Desværre er strømforsyningen meget ustabil og derfor er der ingen køleskab på værelserne, hvilket er træls. Internettet er også meget langsomt og ustabilt. Men når det er sagt så er det et skønt sted.

Nothing to complain about at this gorgeous B&B. Norman and Joyce are some of the nicest hosts I've ever encountered. I HIGHLY recommend staying with them if you're ever in the DR.

I spent an amazingly peaceful week at Hotel Panorámica and am already planning my next visit! Staff are delightful. Breakfasts were delicious. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Electricity, WiFi and water were available at all times. The suite upstairs with the oceanfront balcony is priceless. I slept with the sliding doors wide open most nights and enjoyed the ocean breeze and constant calming sound of the waves all night. Most days I had the pool all to myself while other guests explored the many beaches nearby on either side of the property. Several days I took the public transit for 50RD Pesos (approx $1US each way) into Barahona to shop and eat. I really can’t wait to get back!

Just what we were looking for

It had been 9 years since first visiting Barahona. We were more than pleased with everything at the b&b. Hosts were friendly and unintrusive. It was like we had the place to ourselves. The pool was a favourite for my daughters...the view and tranquility were what I liked best. The only bump...pillows were not the best, but I made due...lol. Yes...there are power outages. Anyone who lives here, know this. We were luck to only have a few minutes of no fan...lol This is a perfect place for those who want exceptional bang for the buck! Thanks...we will be back!

Amazing Time!

The view of ocean and the pool are some of the unforgettable features that this hotel has. The location is perfect for beach lovers like me. I enjoyed every minute of my stay in this place. The owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly.

No Electricity

After driving for hours to get there when we arrived we there were no electricity. We were very surprised because we later learned this was an ongoing issue and no one informed us before we booked this Hotel. The receptionist promised us the issue would be resolved in the morning. Tired and hungry we left to go eat. Had we know then what we know now, we would have checked into another Hotel because the electrical problem was not resolved in the morning. Instead the Owner offered us a discount. I told him I could not stay in a facility with no electricity and we left.

Good B&B hotel

Good B&B hotel in which you share a kitchen, a living room and a swimming pool with hospitable hosts. Magnificent view of the sea.

Super friendly hosts! Great views and pool....new pool chairs and lots of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Wifi works pretty well but not always reliable. Restaurants close by. The house dogs are charming and make the place feel like a home. Would definitely go back!!

フレンドリーで親切なカナダ人のオーナーのホテルです。部屋が４部屋のみでホテルというよりB&Bに近いです。ホテルは海岸沿いにあるため景色がとても素晴らしく、日の出も見ることができます。こじんまりしていて、アットホームなカンジです。 部屋は古いですが、清潔で清掃がいきとどいています。アメニティーは石鹸のみで、ドライヤーもついておらず、貸出もしていません。 朝食はボリュームもあり美味しかったです。なによりも素晴らし景色を眺めながら朝食を取ることができます。 残念な点としては、共有スペースにある椅子やソファーに犬の毛がいっぱいついていること、部屋中だとWiFIが入らないことでした。

Hôtel très accueillant tenu par Norman et Joyce qui font tout pour rendre votre séjour des plus agréables.La région est très sauvage ,très authentique et ce séjour de 3 semaines ne nous a pas paru trop long.A conseiller pour ceux qui veulent sortir des sentiers battus et découvrir une République Dominicaine sans les hôtels "all inclusive".Le Panoramica convient bien à ces critères.

Great hosts at a bed and breakfast

This place was great. It exceeded my expecations. The hosts are super helpful in navigating the area. They have recommendations for places to visit. It was clean and the breakfast made there is good. there is beach access nearby where you can snorkel. The hosts have gear for you to use. I also enjoyed the wifi. It worked well.

Schöne Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht

Wir hatten die geräumige "Presidential Suite, Sea View" für 2 Tage auf unserer Rundreise gebucht. Die Eigentümer waren nach Kanada vereist, aber deren Angestellten habe sich gut um uns gekümmert. Die Klimaanlage hat leider nicht funktioniert aber dafür ausreichend Ventilatoren. Die Unterkunft hat einen tollen Garten und uns wurden gleich bei Ankunft lecker Kokosnüsse von dem Palmen geholt und mit Strohhalm serviert. Insgesamt tolle Unterkunft wobei ein Mietwagen dringend empfohlen wird, weil recht abgelegen.

Beautiful place with spectacular sea views

Beautiful place with spectacular sea views. The owners Norman and Joyce are very friendly and courteous. We spent days in absolute tranquility and harmony with nature :). I definitely recommend this hotel.

Delightful B&B right on the ocean

My wife & I spent 5 wonderful days here relaxing & taking in the beauty of the area. Norman & Joyce (The owners) were absolutely perfect hosts who made every effort to make thing go smoothly for us & their other guests. We now consider them good friends & hope to return again within the next couple of years. Ana puts together a great breakfast for the guests & with the help of her husband Caleb do a super job of keeping the place clean & park like. It was wonderful to be able to stand out on the veranda at night with no city lights nearby & actually be able to see the Milky Way & a zillion stars.

Agradable estadía

Muy buen opción cerca de Barahona. Norman y Joyce son muy buenos anfitriones, atentos y cuidadosos en el trato de las personas. El hotel está muy bien ubicado y es ideal para desplazarse en el día a la playa San Rafael y Los Patos, dos sitios que valen la pena visitar por la confluencia del agua de río y el mar. Definitivamente es un sitio a donde vale la pena volver, buen precio y buena atención en general.
