Athmos is lovely hotel right in the middle of the city but also very quiet. A great location to visit all of the great culture La Chaux-de-Fonds has to offer. We highly recommend it !!!

Cycling Tour Break
Good location in centre and close to Station. Unfortunately no breakfast available due to COVID-19 but bakery next door available for breakfast. Helpfully stored bike in staff area - thanks.

Clean, friendly and well located hotel.
Close to station in Les Eplatures, hotel is quite traditional, not modern, but very clean and good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful with a nice comfortable bed.

Overall great stay for price. Large room w/ view.
Very happy overall with the room and the service. I had a large room with a full size tub and double bed (two twins pushed together) on 3rd floor. The bed was comfortable and the room had two large windows overlooking the city. Very close to train station and a large shopping mall. WiFi was kind of slow in most of the hotel, but good in the room. Also, hotel provides free tickets to the museums in the area, as well as a train and bus pass which was great to have. Breakfast was kind of expensive for what you get (18franc), but was pretty tasty.

Room warm and comfortable, nice breakfast, friendly staff with good awareness of which local restaurants would be open on a Sunday evening. Nice bonus with the hotel giving a local Neuchâtel mobility pass with free local transport and a variety of entry tickets to attractions.

Would be hard to find a better hotel in the town
It is one of the best hotels in the town, although the rooms are quite weakly soundproofed. In general nice experience.

Practical and Convinient
Spent a night at the Athmos when in town for a social event. Great location, small but clean room and immaculate bathroom. Old hotel in need of style refresh - but everything was clean and function. Nice oil painting in the rooms.

All good except for one thing
The hotel was nicely appointed and the room was very comfortable. Staff were more than willing to help; it took two calls to get them to come up to my room and fix a couple small problems (lamp and safe weren't working) after I checked in, but then they were very accommodating. However, my room wasn't cleaned during the two days of my stay, which seemed strange and went unexplained.

It shoud be fantastic
A fabulous old building has been allowed to become too dark & too old, the rooms have not kept pace with expectations, the breakfast service is help yourself, lacking in personality & atmosphere. The whole place feels as if its about to close. The staff are very nice & helpful. But sadly are not able to rid the feeling of doom about the place.

War mitten in der Braderie und gut isoliert. Und alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. VORALLEM wenn man eine Nacht übernachtet gibt es diverse Gutscheine und öv Gratis.

A 4 star hotel old décor, no air conditioning and no mini bar. I request a fan that they promise me but do not deliver. Cleaning is done only in the bathroom but not in the room. Very bad experience

El hotel es antiguo con estilo clásico. Muy bien cuidado, la habitación era muy grande y espaciosa, con dos grandes ventanas que daban a la calle principal. Muy limpio. Mobiliario clásico, algunas piezas parecían de museo, camas amplias y cómodas. Lo mejor el personal,concretamente el Director de hotel que fue el que nos atendió siempre en recepción.
