"The Gite du Capitaine is in a small village in the countryside. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner provided was good. The room and facilities were excellent. The house is rustic and full of antique furniture in great condition. "

This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English).
