Fujita Kanko Kyushu and Okinawa hotels

"We've stayed in "nice" hotels around the world. The lobby of The Basics is stunning. One of the most beautiful hotel spaces we've seen. Our room was comfortable with a very good bed and some terrific features such as ambient lighting. However, our room lacked a dresser for unpacking our clothes. There were no safety bars in the shower. The provided slippers and sleeping clothes did not fit, even though we are not large people. The staff could not provide properly sized items. We had an upgraded room, which included "club level" privileges. The club room is pleasant, although not up to the standards of so many others. There is no service staff available. Very limited self-service beverage options and no breakfast or special food offerings. The beautiful rotunda lobby has massive bookshelves containing a wonderful, eclectic assortment of books, all available for your reading or perusal. Artwork abounds in this hotel. Check out the fabulous series of porcelain dolls on the second floor. We had breakfast in their dining room, and the menu was a mix of Western and Japanese dishes. It was OK. It's a short walk from the train station with many food choices in the neighborhood. Although the very best restaurants in Fukuoka are at least a ten-minute or more cab ride away."

"My corner room was very spacious with a view of the city. Great breakfast buffet with many choices. Loved having an onsen. Soundproof rooms with excellent blackout curtains. The TV provides a status on how many washers are available, how much time is remaining on each machine and how busy the onsen is. Great location. Very helpful staff. I'd stay here again!"

"The cleanliness of the room is good no doubt is eco cleaning but daily the house keeper will change the clean towel & clear all rubbish. Air condition is ok don’t know it because is Feb temperature around 12 degree therefore the adjusted during the night feels abit warm. Overall the hotel is very convenient location within walking distance is the JR HAKATA STATION, CITY, Kitte OiOi big shopping mall & lots of restaurants with yummy local food & other cuisine. Thank you very much for JR Kyushu blossom hotel Hakata Chuo the mangement & team for their friendly,attentiveness & patience, this is definitely a best choice. I will be back again next visit to Japan. Breakfast no chance of trying it maybe during my next visit. "
