It had a good homely feeling with great community vibe with free coffee and sake.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a great restaurant recommendation. The room was a good size, comfortable, clean, and provided everything we needed. The location was close to the station but tucked away so it was nice and quiet. There were lots of restaurants and shops close by. We would definitely recommend it!

Staffs are nice and helpful. Hotel very close to the mall. Hotel is clean and neat. Thank you Glanz Kei hotel!

What a gem! Such a great find. Amazing location near everything. Super clean, amazingly professional and kind staff. So glad we found Stitch Hotel for our Kyoto stay.

The front desk staff was amazing at this apartment style hotel. I wasn't expecting first class service but we definitely got it! They provided us a dinner recommendation, booked the taxi and booked the table. It was one of the best dinners we had in Japan and was in Pontocho Alley, which is a pretty popular area! The room was beautiful, everything was comfortable. Had a great experience!

A pretty little property conveniently located near bus stops and a 24-hour grocery store. Our room was very large, fitting 3 adults with luggage comfortably. It was nice to have a kitchenette with stove top, microwave oven, electric kettle & two small refrigerators. The laundry drying system in the shower room worked well The only minor inconvenience was that the unattended desk where we dropped off our luggage (prior to the official check-in time) was very small. Our bags, plus those of...

The hotel itself is not exactly right near much….but you walk 10 minutes and suddenly you are near everything: Kyoto Station, shopping, restaurants, bars. We liked that….the serenity of the hotel and the immediate area, but quick to everything you could want. The hotel itself is small, but very modern and well maintained. The room was perfect for us 5. Plenty of room, a mini kitchen setup, very comfortable. Also, because Kyoto bus transportation is so solid, and there is a bus stop 1 minute...

This was a roomy, quiet, family friendly apartment hotel in central Kyoto close to bus lines and subways (bus stop from Kyoto station is literally a few feet away from hotel). Multilingual staff was very friendly and helpful. Washer/dryer coin operated laundry was easily accessible in lobby as well as free amenities like coffee pods, toothbrushes, Qtips, bath robes, house slippers and other necessities. We stayed 12 days and easily took day trips to Hiroshima, Nara, Osaka, and even Tokyo on...

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We learned it opened about a month ago. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for our family of 4 and was so very clean and the decor was inviting. The bathroom is just as amazing. It was large with a sauna and a separate glassed room with a shower and tub. The hotel offers free coffee, lattes etc at all times with a state of the art machine in the lobby. Breakfast is offered for free every morning. The hotel is in an amazing...

Property is in nice neighborhood, very close to bus stops/routes (<2 min), directly accessible from Kyoto station. Hotel is near several tourist locations and immediately walkable. Room size is decent with table, with washer but no dryer. Not a lot of drying rack/space though, and there is no external area to dry it outside. Not a lot of utensils/plates, but we made do. Electric locks for main door and room access was somewhat unexpected, not sure if this is the norm nowadays (haven't traveled...

We are family of 4 (2 adults and 2 11 yrs old). We stayed here for 3 nights. This place met all our expectations. Staffs were super helpful and friendly. We arrived early and our room was not available. They held our luggage for us and moved it in our room when room became available. We loved our room. Room is spacious, clean. Has mini fridge, microwave, dish ware, utensils, small stove top, 1 king bed, bunk bed, washer and dryer for laundry, dining table and toilet and shower is in...

Excellent staff and reasonable breakfast. Nice to have a washer in the unit also.

we love the area and the staff super friendly.. is also super convenient you have everything at a walking distance

Uniquely quiet, Zen-like aesthetic. Perfect location in a great neighborhood. Beautiful.

This hotel was so clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and wished we stayed at different mimaru in Japan. Zun at the front desk is truly amazing. He went above and beyond to make our trip to Kyoto memorable. It was my sons and my nieces bday week and surprised them with candy and a card. Also, we almost missed our Shinkansen to tokyo but Zun order is a taxi and told the driver exactly where we should be dropped of at the train station. Just wow. We ended up being 10 mins early and...
