If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place.
The resort is family friendly with all kinds of activities for the kids. Plus, centrally located to good bars / restaurants
I think my only real issue was the size / quality of the room for the price point. I've stayed in way larger / nicer rooms for $200 a night. At least...

I give the Anvaya 5 stars! I was in Singapore for work and decided to treat myself and check out Bali for a few days. It was too quick of a trip, but I wanted to do a little traveling. Upon arrival to Anvaya, I was greeted with a cold towel and ice water during check-in. The lobby space is so peaceful and calming. The staff at the hotel were incredibly hospitable. I arrived very early and my room would not be ready until 2pm. There was an an AC room available with coffee to hang out in, however,...

First time in Bali and I chose the Magani based over the proximity to the airport and spacious room. I arrived hours early but was greeted by the bell hop and escorted to the check-in counter. I was then brought out a welcome drink which was amazingly different. Although my room wasn’t ready in time when I walked into my room it meet every online picture expectations more. The room was huge and an I had a jetted tub located outside. Additionally, the front desk guy allowed me to do a late...

I am traveling with a friend, it’s our first time in Bali. We came from Ubud area. We’re impressed with the hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly, always eager to help with anything we needed.
The hotel’s setting was stunning. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight, with a diverse selection of delicious options. The hotel itself had a lush, we really loved walking around at night. Christmas decorations were beautiful to take nice pictures too. The...

Wonderful staff, comfortable, clean rooms and lovely decor. Very quiet inside the rooms with excellent wifi. Gym is great with treadmill, weight bench, a couple weight machines and dumbbells. Water and towels provided in the gym. Towels provided for pool use. Did not participate in the buffet breakfast but the one meal I ate in the restaurant was very good. There's a pretty big mall within close proximity as well. Absolutely would return.

Mamaka turned out to be an excellent place to stay for us. We needed something close to the airport for a few nights. The rooms were
Clean and the staff were attentive . The breakfasts were wonderful as was the pool.
We had trouble with our for not locking twice and the staff took care of it quickly. The negative aspects were the slow internet in our room and the loud music at night. We had super long flights and a 15 hour time difference so we went to sleep early.
