This area is known for the Midsummer festival, which was very high on my list of things to do whilst in Sweden. It did not disappoint. "I was in Dalarna during a busy time (Vasaloppet Week) so Stiftelsen Berget was the only place I could find to stay. It worked out fine although it was a bit bewildering at first. But once the staff person got me to my room, it was fine. I had reserved for four nights, but I was offered to stay with friends after that first night so I only stayed one night. I'm glad I was able to cancel the other three nights without additional charge."
