We absolutely loved our stay at the Walchsee Aktivresort! What an amazing place. The view of our room was breathtaking, and the entire experience was relaxing and unforgettable. The location, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic – we would come back anytime!

Misleading pictures! This is NOT on the lake!

The pictures of Hotel front are misleading! We thought we were booking a hotel right on the lake, instead the hotel was by a main road - 10 mins walk from a swimming spot at the lake. So, we were a bit disappointed. The man at reception explained that its a mistake made by Hotels.com and not their hotel. They do indeed have a hotel on the lake, but only with suites, at 100Euro extra. Apart from this, the hotel was a good experience, with clean pool, brilliant spa and amazing healthy breakfast buffet.

Fake marketing

The front picture of the hotel when we made the booking, was from another hotel. The beautiful hotel right on the lakeside, is not the hotel you book. The staff agreed that this was misleading, but would not do anything about it. They even said 'you should tell hotels.com to fix their website'. Very frustrating to put the responsibility on the customer, and I have learned since that they have been informed several times before. This is a scam and I can only warn others against it. Several customers had difficulties getting out of the garage because it was too crowded, and again the staff tried to out the blame on the customers. Really not a nice visit.

Tolles Hotel zum Wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück ist Mega lecker und für alles gibt es glutenfreie/ milchfreie / vegane Alternativen. Das Abendessen im Lakeside war auch sehr, sehr lecker. Zimmer waren sauber und modern eingerichtet, nur die Glasschiebetür zum Bad war für die Kinder suboptimal. Pool und Familiensauna waren auch schön, besonders, dass der Außenpoolbereich wärmer war als innen. Bei uns hat auch die Abholung vom Bahnhof und die Ausleihe des Elektro BMW problemlos geklappt. Vor Ort ist man ohne Auto allerdings etwas aufgeschmissen. Ansonsten haben wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Mega Aufenthalt! Das Hotel war super sauber, modern und total gemütlich. Das Team war mega freundlich und hat sich echt Mühe gegeben – man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Frühstück war der Hammer und die Lage ist perfekt, um alles easy zu erreichen. Würde sofort wieder buchen.

Bel espace bien-être dans le bâtiment principal et bon fitness dans le bâtiment sur la rivière du lac. La piscine est grande mais on ne pouvait pas faire quelques lignes de 25m puisque la partie extérieure et la partie intérieure sont séparés par un "rideau" (bon pour économiser de l'énergie, moins pour les nageurs, on y fait plutôt la trempette que du sport). Ma chambre était spacieuse, propre mais très sobre. Pas de bouilloire ou machine de café dans la chambre, ce qui m'a étonné. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Falsche höhe der kurtaxe von Expedia berechnet Beim einchecken kein hinweis auf Gästekarte,erst auf nachfrage ausgestellt.Zimmerwechsel auf Zimmer mit Balkon war sehr gut.Dusch und Badtüre Aus glas schleifen am boden,sauberkeit und Silikonfugen nicht in gutem zustand

Sehr schöne Anlage in einer schönen Umgebung. Personal sehr nett. Kleinere Mankos waren jedoch, dass das WLAN auf dem Zimmer überhaupt nicht funktioniert hat und das man nicht im See baden konnte ohne die sehr preisintensiven Liegen zu mieten (speziell wenn man als Familie dort ist).

Dejligt hotel

Vi havde et dejligt ophold på dette fantastiske hotel. Skøn morgenmad, god service, valgfri rengøring som du selv kunne bestemme om skulle være formiddag eller eftermiddag. Det var temmelig dyrt at spise aftensmad på hotellet. Vi boede der samtidig med en større fodbold-trup, så vi måtte ikke benytte os af træningsfaciliteterne på hotellet, men blev henvist til søsterhotellet ved søen. Mange af billederne på hotels.com er i øvrigt af søsterhotellet ved søen, så man bliver lidt vildledt, da dette hotel ligger midt i byen og har 3-400 meter til søsterhotellet.

Attenzione la struttura non è quella che appare in foto. Ci sono due alberghi separati il primo sul lago (quello della foto) con solo suite e l’uso dei lettini e l’ombrellone sul pontile inclusi nel prezzo, e il secondo albergo all’interno del paese e se vuoi usufruire dei lettini e l’ombrellone sul pontile devi pagare € 25 al giorno per persona. Ecco bisognerebbe fare un po’ di chiarezza sui motori di ricerca e non mettere in primo piano la foto dell’albergo fronte lago ( x attirare clienti) per poi continuare con le foto dell’altro albergo ( quello dentro al paese) , senza specificare bene. TUTTO QUESTO MI È SEMBRATO ABBASTANZA DISONESTO Naturalmente l’albergo dà la colpa ad Expedia per la mancata chiarezza, ma a me sembra solo una furbata e mancanza di rispetto verso il cliente Piscine piccole, quella esterna circondata da abitazioni, e per essere un 4 stelle due idromassaggi li avrei messi, come pure un mini frigo bar in camera. Staff alla reception e ai piani molto gentile e cordiale. Camere molto pulite.

Sehr schlechter Geruch im Zimmer. Keine Klimaanlage. Keine Minibar / Kühlschrank. Kein Mineralwasser auf dem Zimmer. Bei den Preisen könnte man mehr erwarten. Auf dem Balkon nur 2 harte Stühle, kein Liegestuhl. Kein Mülleimer im WC für Frauendinge. Matratze VIEL zu hart! Personal verstand teilweise kaum deutsch, somit Kommunikation teilweise schwierig.
