"I had the most wonderful stay at Chintakiri. The team who worked there were fantastic - so friendly and helpful! The views were spectacular. The rooms were simple but had everything I needed. Shower and air con were great and bed was comfy. The balcony was big and had a stunning view. Pool was clean and food was great. It was a hike to get up there though and I would recommend hiring a scooter if you do stay there. The workout to walk up is well worth what you get once you arrive! "

"You can swim off the beach with a snorkel mask and find one of the best reefs including sea turtles, and if you wake up early before the tour groups or are lucky black tip reef sharks too. Area was clean, and pools were gorgeous. Good breakfast but poor layout creating a few traffic jams. Also the amount of stairs or hills you have to walk is too much for some, also expect taxi to charge 400B one way"

"This hotel has been the best so far in our four week trip to Thailand. They might not do breakfast at the hotel, but don't let that put you off. The view from the room was amazing. "We had a wonderful stay at Coral View! We loved the seclusion of the hotel from the busy and more active area and with the hotel offering shuttle service at a very reasonable price, we were able to visit the more active areas of Koh Tao! A perfect balance for what we needed from our stay on the island! The views were stunning and the staff were incredible! Only recommendation is bring a water shoe to wear on the beach as there is loads of shells and coral and it would make walking on the beach...

"The only obvious advantage was a good beach with a lot of corals. We were completely disappointed with Charm Churee Village. When we arrived to the hotel, the staff were really unfriendly, also the numbers that we booked were terrible, so we had to pay fir an upgrade, and the manager didint even give us a proper receipt. Everything in the hotel is very old, rusty. The floor is squeaky, the celling had a lot of holes in it, so that during the rain we had our rooms wet. Bed sheets were covered in...

"Booked a garden view room, very neat inside with super comfortable bed, mini bar fridge and kettle. Plenty of stairs around the resort which can be a challenge if you have mobility issues but there is no other option for the hotel plus you get plenty of exercise which is good as the resort restaurant serves delicious meals at very reasonable prices. There is also a mini mart where you can buy essentials. You do not even have to leave the resort as the snorkeling is right of the beach which is not too busy. One of the best places we have stayed."
