An absolute stunner hotel in a fun neighborhood with lots of fantastic, walkable food options. This place is worth it for the amazing balcony, and the beach views out of the ocean (especially at sunset) are incredible. We loved it.

My husband and I stayed in a garden villa suite for 14 nights and absolutely loved our stay. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall our room was spacious enough. The location is superb. Walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, massage. The pool and beach were relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was generally tasty and had enough variety. Overall an excellent place to stay!

The property is very well located. We mostly enjoyed our stay there but rated it only 3 stars because our room was very much in need of a refurb. Also the house keeping was very poor. Bathroom rarely cleaned and often didn't leave water, toilet paper and new towels. The sink was terribly pitted and stained black, we bought some cleaning stuff but was beyond help. On the plus side, although small, the pool area was nice and right on the beach. The breakfast was good, and the staff at the restaurant nice and helpful.

Pool was excellent. Right on the beach and great restaurant with happy hour. Staff was very polite and helpful. Massage ladies were wonderful. Room was a villa with balcony on 2nd floor, very private. Close to many restaurants and convenience stores. Easy for tours pick up at lobby. Great relaxing time. Recommended and worth the price, not far from the airport.

Excellent stay
Easy check-in, Staff all very courteous and professional. Although the pool was out of use for the majority of our stay a nearby alternative was offered till problem was rectified. Would recommend for anyone staying in the area.

We have just returned from our stay. It was wonderful. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The amenities worked very well for us. The convenience of having our room in a straight shoot to the pool then beach was amazing! I had read some disappointing reviews before we arrived and was a bit nervous however I can speak to the kind natured very helpful staff who helped book and plan all our day trips and activities upon arrival as well as the beautiful location. There are some hotels on here that we almost booked. Thank heavens we didn't. Some we walked by on our trip and they are very poor. Bad location and unkept amenities. Advice for other travelers be sure and look at the location on google maps. One hotel was stunning however you had to cross the main road any time you wanted to get to the pool and beach facilities! Not with this place. You are right on the beach! We literally drank Mai Thai's and lay on the beach it was GLORIOUS! Thank you to the beautiful staff. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

This is a nice affordable hotel set in lush grounds and with access straight onto the beach. Restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a decent size and I appreciated having a balcony.

An idyllic retreat to unwind and chill at Lamai
Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with wife and son. The resort location is right on the beach. Hospitality at its best. Rooms were spacious. The only complain is that the toilet door does not have a locking mechanism... Is a bit uncomfortable if you are not used to it. The pool and breakfast was amazing. Walks on the beach in the morning are a treat.

Yes this property is definitely dated but the location is great for restaurants and shopping , the beach location is great , sand that you can walk on - rooms are large with nice storage areas for clothing and bags as well as clean . Air con , whilst newish was a bit challenging to get right . Our rooms balcony view wasn’t fantastic but was very comfortable- equipped with a practical clothes airer for all wet swimmers etc Staff numbers were down but those that were on site were coping very well , friendly and more than happy to help . Yes we would stay here again . Many thanks for an enjoyable stay

the property is a relatively good resort property. but if you are looking for nearby shopping i would not recommend this property but you can take grab to central abt 20min away.

Great Staff
Staff were excellent, location was great, very walkable. Right on the beach. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, just wish they had a fresh egg station like other properties we stayed at while in Thailand - where they make your eggs fresh to order whether it's omelets or scrambled or fried. Hotel could use a little maintenance as in a coat of paint in some areas where is was worn off but overall a great little property

Nice Hotel and Staff needs some updating
The hotel staff go out of there way to make sure you are taken care of. The classic rooms are a bit dated and could do with updating. Breakfast was good and with a reasonable choice of food. The price of drinks by the pool and beach was a bit high hence most people went next door, if they dropped their prices I am sure people would use the hotel.

Great location
Great location on the beach with sun beds and parasols. A nice clean pool with more sun beds and parasols. Beach towels provided daily. Nice room with comfy bed and a wonderful towel sculpture when we arrived. Free bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities. Close to many shops, street food and restaurants. Good buffet breakfast range.

Wonderful, helpful staff who checked with us each time they saw us to make sure we were getting everything we needed. Clean efficient room. Airport service. Right on the beach. Would stay there again.

We had a one year old baby and our room was on the top floor and there is no lift so carrying a pram up two flights of stairs is not ideal. A ground floor room would have made our stay much easier. Apart from this, lovely stay at Thai beach house.

The good: Nice clean spacious rooms and shower. Good breakfast and location is right on the beach. The bad: Occasional foul smelling odours bubbling up from plumbing in room on 1st floor.
