Stayed in the garden view room. Very nice and would not recommend paying any extra for rooms in main hotel. Breakfast was served in main hotel - unsure if this is due to it being off season and not many people staying in hotel.

Not too far away from the airport, everything was good and beautiful. The only are for improvement is the restaurant food but that being said.. the bars are gorgeous and there a lot food options outside

We stay in the building across the street from beach.The room was nice,clean however lack of privacy if you open the blinds(also no place to hang the wet swimming wear)

Amazing facilities with pool in front of the beach, beach bar and restaurant, all serving high quality meals and drinks. Room was in the lovely restored old building. the room was large and with 3 balconies. all the details in the room, common corridors and areas are well curated. The beach and hotel facilities within are amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Important detail

Important!!! All the pictures are from main hotel and its great. But My room was in a different building across the main road. With no balcony, fridge and very average breakfast. Bit it was clean and ok for just a room. Just know where your room is. Oh and the wifi is crap. So if you have to a bit of work or something go to a cafe.

Fabulous stay at Mercure Koh Samui

Fabulous hotel!!! Room was large and very well maintained. Huge bed, can sleep 3 adults if you wish. The pool is huge and has a great swim up bar and it is right on the beach. Breakfast is included and has both a western and asian selection. The staff are amazing and very, very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean and hygienic.

It is brand new hotel. Very clean and a lot of security camera and security guys inside. Feel really comfortable. It has beach access and there is nice pool as well. We really loved to stay here.

I had an amazing stay at Mercure Samui Chaweng Tana – it strikes the perfect balance between comfort, style, and convenience, right in the heart of Chaweng. The hotel has a modern tropical vibe and a peaceful atmosphere, even though it’s just steps away from all the action. The location is ideal – only a short stroll to the beach and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and everything you need for a great time in Samui. If you can, book an ocean-view room – watching the sunrise every morning was absolutely magical. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with all the essentials you’d expect. I really appreciated how quiet it was at night – it made winding down after a day in the sun so easy. One of my favorite surprises came from the housekeeping team – they created lovely floral decorations on the bed every day. Their creativity and attention to detail truly made each return to my room feel special. The rest of the staff were just as fantastic. From the friendly front desk to the warm and welcoming restaurant and bar crew, everyone went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The pool area is another highlight – peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for lounging with a drink or diving into a good book. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a solid mix of local Thai options and familiar Western favorites – definitely something for everyone. It seems there is a 2nd building actie the street for last minute deals . I really feel fooled as the adverts are misleading. Next to the building is an big poor looking street and the view is on cheap appartment building. Of i would know this I would never booked it . I have Companies at reception .. no response. The staflid nice . Breakfast feels like a poor in this building as you are not allowed to have Breakfast in the other building with sea view . I am really dissapointed in this hotel. Check which building you are in before booking

Great spontaneous vacation

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at Lindos Sun. The hotel's setting is unique, as it designed like a greek village with white houses. The rooms are very comfortable and pretty. Beds are very comfortable and the room is very well appointed. The meals (breakfast and dinner) are very good, with a big array of both greek and international foor, with many seafood options available. Food was delicious. Only downside is that at dinner, there are no water dispenser, and any beverages must be purchased, though are reasonably priced. The pool is really pretty and big, with many chairs and loungers near it. Overall, a highly recommended hotel. We recieved an early check in (12 pm) and breakdast for our early departure (5am)

Amazing hotel!

The staff are incredible, they are always willing to help you with taxis and restaurant recommendations! We stayed in the standard room and honestly it was the best room we stayed in throughout our trip to Thailand. The facilities are second to none. I would suggest upgrading to the pool access rooms (if you have a chance), as we didn’t know that the standard rooms were across the road in a separate building. Although, this didn’t make too much of a difference. Very close to the main town, however, far enough away to not have any distribution. Only minor problem is that the sun-beds were always full, so not sure if people were getting up early to reserve these (even though there were signs saying not to do this). Didn’t impact our stay too much it was so close to a lovely beach! And I know this cannot be helped as it happens everywhere! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Below expectations -- but not Samui's worse.

Bad: Complained about the TV set being broken upon check-in (very poor signal / tuning, broken speakers, etc...), they did nothing about it, so we couldn't watch anything for 5 days. The TV was so old and poorly installed that I couldn't even plug my own Chromecast (which I brought in case something like this happened in lower category hotels I booked for this same trip). The choice of channels (those you could infer from the poor signal) is very poor, not what you would expect in a hotel like this. Seafood BBQ cooking staff were unskilled, could not keep up with the orders of the (barely 10?) tables, food came out late, orders misplaced, some (like ours) even unfulfilled. The pool in the "deluxe" wing was deep green for 2 days... probably because of the mess a few misbehaved families made every day without anyone from the hotel warning them. Clearly, an issue in the water filtering circuit, which staff justified as "it's the weather that makes it look like that"... (facepalm). The pool in the "std" wing - where we stayed - was not properly maintained, either... you could feel the slimmy, slippery bottom under your feet. Good: breakfast (except the cheap, chemical juices), room (aside of TV snaffu), reception staff (friendly and helpful), the beach (no merit on the hotel, but still... the best we saw in Samui).
