Bungalows close to the beach

Overall the hotel was good value for the money. The bungalows are close to the beach and stort walking distance to the Thong Sala «strip» with bars. The Food is ok. The beach is ok but the Water is increadibly shallow so the swimming experience is not the greatest. I guess you have go to north side to Get better bathing. The bungalows are ok but with no insulation so drunk kids and Russians that sit drinking and takling outside their bungalows late at night may be a bit disturbing. I rented a motorbike for a day and was to forced to pay for scratches on exhaust pipe that clearly was old ones but I didnt have photo to prove them wrong. This is a lesson learned for me and it wont happen again.

Very nice little hotel. 10 minute walk to beach

Stayed for 21 nights at Go Samui Hotel. Right from the start I was impressed by the staff especially the young man at reception (Tum) he was kind enough to allow us to check in early. Otherwise we would have had to hang around for 3 hours. We got a friendly greeting from the staff every day which appeared genuine. The hotel is located at the most northern end of Chaweng Beach but you have to walk for about 10 minutes before you get to the first point of entry to the beach. it is well worth the walk. has a nice little pool which is adequate for just relaxing. we had a great time there and would stay there again.

Bent over backwards to solve problems

When thing go wrong, as they do, you know how good the attitude of the hotel is by they way they go about solving problems. At Go Samui the staff were pro active when there was a problem, never looked for excuses and came up with solutions. There was an incident with the transformer that blew out the electricity. The staff worked hard to resolve this and when it looked as if they might not get the electricity back up, they organised alternative accommodation plus they covered the taxi fees. The electricity came back on as I was packing and I decided to extend my stay at Go Samui because of this.

Отель уютный, наличие лифта очень помогает, персонал вежливый, приветливый. В период нашего проживания почти не было других отдыхающих, поэтому бассейн был наш, особенно это актуально вечером и даже ночью;) до ТЦ Фестиваль 20 минут пешком, фэмели маркет прямо в здании гостиницы, что очень удобно! До моря максимум 5 минут. Очень удобно, что можно пойти на 2 разные бухты, проход через территории других отелей. В одной бухте народа почти нет, в другой все битком( ближе к центру Чавенга). Много разнообразных ресторанов в округе, а также на берегу моря. Минус я бы отметила- двери в туалет/душ напоминают двери в Салун, т.е их фактически нет

Great people at reception...my floor was a bit dusty but that was fixed...my only thing is that there is a jug but no cups. I understand that the hotel doesn't have tea and coffee etc but a cup would be nice since they are next door to a mini Mart it would help.

A night near Chaweng

Stayed one night. Hotel was fine for the price, but the location was a bit out of the action of Chaweng and the beach. There's a beach not far away, but it's too shallow to swim.

Wir haben das Hotel als ersten Stop auf unserer Rundreise gebucht; es eignet sich aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen sehr gut als erste Anlaufstelle nach der Ankunft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Direkt nebenan ist ein relativ günstiger Mopedverleih; unbedingt Moped ausleihen, da das Hotel eher im abgeschiedenen Teil von Chawang und nicht direkt am Strand liegt.

感觉有点像国内的快捷酒店，比快捷酒店好一些，房间还算宽敞，有个小茶吧和阳台，靠马路很近很方便楼下就是便利店但是一点都不吵，有个小游泳池，但我们没来得及去游，刚到苏梅就先定的便宜一点的酒店，因为着急着出去玩，根本没时间呆在酒店。这个选择是非常不错的，服务很好，中间还不小心打碎一个杯子，老板娘都没让赔，人特别好

Stayed all over Thailand for a lot less and much better. First week pool was out of order. Changed rooms 3 times in 10 days as key card system for room kept failing. None of the staff could fix it. Had to ask for the room to be cleaned and fresh towels every few days.

Great value in low session

Go Samui is a comfortable and clean hotel with friendly staff and good showers. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Chaweng, and right next door to a convenience store.
