  • One of the many local food stalls in the Chaweng walking street. This stall does not have a name but on their menu it says "Thai Food Thai Style" and is next to Samui Grilled Fish. We have tried different dishes from most of the food stalls and feel this one has the best quality, consistency, taste and price. They make a great Tom Khai Kai, Pad Se-eew Goong and Pad Thai(no tofu at it is dried out). Enjoy. #market

Our stay here was great. We came to Koh Samui for the nightlife and were very pleased with the accommodation’s proximity to everything including pubs, the beach and shops (it’s practically right in the middle of everything).

Chalet was fine overall. Comfortable bed and usual facilities such as safe, kettle, fridge etc. close proximity to the beach which was nice and near to the centre of town.

Pleasant but would benefit from upgrade

Very comfortable room with private plunge pool. The resort is a little bit tired but pleasant enough. There were a number of power cuts during our stay, one for several hours.

Well done

This is a great hotel, only lacking in facilities. Bar closes early and so does the kitchen. Other than that the rooms are quite nice and the staff is kind, helpful and friendly

Special shout-out to Sharron, Tear and Saang for their kindness and excellent service! From expediting our room after a whole night of travel to their warm and friendly, eager to assist manner throughout our stay, these staff are really an asset to the resort. The location and amenities by the beach and the heart of Chaweng are amazing. 11/10 would stay here again even if the room and decor could do with a bit of upgrading.

Like a lot of reviews say, this place is pretty run down. They have made some upgrades to the rooms, but not enough. Definitely overpriced for what it is. The grounds need some serious work, too. Bring your own shampoo! They just put in a new outdoor gym right near the beach if you’re into that, but it also got in the way of my “Seaview” room. On the plus side, the location is great, the pool is nice, wifi good and the staff is amazing. But I wouldn’t do it again.

The hotel needs a good upgrade with everything, from front desk staffs to housekeepers. Most of their staffs don’t speak Thai and their English is quite poor and it makes it really hard to communicate with them. I booked the accommodation with breakfast included on the website and when I clicked and paid the breakfast had disappeared from my booking. During our stay there were other guests had the same issues with their breakfast not included. It seems to me there must be some miscommunications between Expedia website and the hotel. Regardless the resort hotel issues, I still wanted to acknowledged that the chef was amazing to us during our stay, she made some the amazing traditional Thai dishes for us everyday. Thank you Chef Sukawadee!!
