  • One of the many local food stalls in the Chaweng walking street. This stall does not have a name but on their menu it says "Thai Food Thai Style" and is next to Samui Grilled Fish. We have tried different dishes from most of the food stalls and feel this one has the best quality, consistency, taste and price. They make a great Tom Khai Kai, Pad Se-eew Goong and Pad Thai(no tofu at it is dried out). Enjoy. #market

The place is safe and quiet. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Easy access to the beach. The location of the hotel is close to restaurants and Central Samui. And to top of it all our stay was upgraded to free breakfast. Highly Recommended!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Baan Samui Resort was walkable to everywhere we needed to go Jeep at the front desk was very obliging when we needed her book excursions for us. All the staff were great. The only thing that let it down was the restaurant and bar, the drinks tasted like mocktails and not cocktails and the food we received on our last night wasn’t fit to eat it should never have been served to us

It's a busy area of Koh Samui which offers great restaurants nearby. The rooms were fantastic as was the beach, though it was a bit crowded in early Feb 2025. Super clean and comfortable with a friendly staff...this hotel is a great choice!

Great hotel, on the beach.

We had a great time here.. The hotel is in an in an ideal location and right on the beach with its own loungers and beam bags. The staff were lovely and really helpful. We had housekeeping daily, nice bar selling food overlooking the beach with a chilled vibe. We would definitely recommend this hotel and reasonably priced compared to others in the same area.

We had great time at Baan Samui! The hotel is perfectly located on the nice and quiet part of the beach. Rooms are very clean, there is enough space in the room and overall very nice and cozy. Stuff is just amaizing, always very friendly and polite! Pool is also nice, clean and big enough.

Best in chaweng for beach vacation

This hotel is great for a beach vacation . Located right at the best part of chaweng beach . Far enough from the noise and hustle of chaweng , while close enough to walk there ( about 10 min) . Close to the central mall . This is not a big fancy resort, very clean well run smaller resort. Probably the best option in chaweng if you are looking for a relaxing beach vacatiin

Excellent hotel perfect location

A lovely authentic hotel. Spotlessly clean. All rooms are spacious and bathrooms modern with an excellent shower. Staff are so friendly especially Tam who loves all her ‘mamma’ and ‘papa’s’ and looks after you so well. Definitely returning. Excellent location. Pool looks onto beach so spoilt for the swimming pool or sea or both!!! Thank you for an excellent stay xx

Amazing hotel, will be coming back!

Baan Samui surpassed all expectations. The atmosphere was very relaxed and serene, with lots of plants, flowers and nice lighting in the evening. Breakfast right on the beach was incredible, in addition to the amazing food choices, including local Thai coconut pancakes! The beach was very clean and beautiful, and Baan Samui offers plenty of complementary sun-beds with umbrellas. Although we could not snorkel at the time, the sea is not shallow so we still enjoy the warm water! The hotel is also in a perfect location - close enough to all the action, but quiet. The pool is also nice, and big enough for all the guests. The rooms are much bigger than they seem in the photos - they were clearly recently renovated, and were modern and clean. The beds are really big. The hotel has lots of cute places to sit, and there are also bookcases with books guests have left behind. Finally, we cannot rave enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were. If we had to be nitpicky, two small things to mention are that the bathroom door has vents in it, meaning it is not entirely soundproof, and secondly, the fridge is a bit noisy so we turned it off at night.

Staff courteous, friendly and rooms clean and spacious. BIG WATCH OUT! Ongoing building works immediately next to the pool/beach area which caused noise and dust disruption to our stay. Was supposed to have been completed by end November 2025 but looks like it’s still some months away (we left early Feb). Very disappointing and impacted our holiday negatively. Be aware.
