"This used to be the Buskin River Inn and all rooms will be remodeled in the next year. My room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Free breakfast was good and I really like the biscuits. Caught my daily limit of silver salmon in the Buskin River behind the hotel. Nice computer and printer set up in lobby. ..."

Jul 23, 2019Kodiak is a great jumping off point for wilderness trips to fish and see the bears. We also took a rental car, VERY expensive, for a day to drive to the end of the island to see the whales. Not a lot to do in the city itself.

Jun 11, 2019Kodiak is beautiful. The second day there it was overcast but otherwise sunny. I love the ocean and boats so it was nice to see both. Great fishing and just a pleasant place to relax.
