「We had three rooms booked for a party of 6. The bathroom in one of the room was smelly and remained so even after the staff did some cleaning there.
Most of the towels had a mildewy smell. I'd say about half the towels. Finally, the drain in the shower does not keep up with the tap. As you shower the soapy water starts to pool at your feet. 「Charming property with lots of character. Ideal location in a fort Kochi, lovely helpful staff, spacious comfortable rooms (air conditioning worked well and bathrooms were clean and well appointed) all made for a marvelous stay. 」

「Staff were great. Restaurant had decent food including free breakfast. Location is excellent for Chinese market and water ferry, just a 1 minute walk. Other sites- 40 minute walk to synagogue and next to it is the Dutch palace. 25 minute walk for popular handwashing laundry- Dhobi Khana. Top bunk in the dorm room was a little too high for me, but slept well. Restaurant did not sell alcohol which is a shame, the hostel has a nice chilled vibe. 」
