Very friendly and helpful staff . Amazing view of bay . This side of the island seems to be very quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to kayak around , the resort does have a bar and restaurant but you really do need to rent a motor bike to explore this amazing island

So enjoyed our stay in our ocean view hut. Friendly attentive staff. The pool is amazing - clean warm and the view over the ocean is amazing. Due to the location not that near to a store it would be nice if they had refill water station. A few close restaurants that we walked to - about 20 mins. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway

Paradise! Beautifully landscaped, own tiny beach where you can swing over clear waters, gorgeous pool, super peaceful, nice restaurant, lovely, clean, round air-conditioning posh "huts', good hot showers and large dressing area. Plus the sweetest people working there! Very helpful. Only downsides, the rooms had no full length mirrors, and as I'm short, I could only ever see the top half of my head before I went out. PUT SOME MIRRORS IN THE ROOMS PLEASE! Also, you need to hire a bike/scooter, which the reception will glady organise for you, to get to any other cafe/ bar if you wanted to dine elsewhere, which made us feel slightly like hostages to their good, but somewhat-for-Thailand expensive restaurant. Still, compared to Europe, it's a bargain. And it is PARADISE! I spent my whole time there smiling.

Herrlich ruhige Anlage mit Blick aufs Meer. Sehr erholsam. Personal immer hilfsbereit. Schwimmen im Meer geht dort nicht aber der Pool ist wunderbar mit Blick in die Landschaft. Für die anderen Strände und Restaurants in Koh Mak braucht es einen Scooter. Würde es wieder buchen.

ที่พักสงบเงียบ พนักงานดูแลดีมาก อาหารอร่อยมากๆ โดยเฉพาะลาบปลา (แนะนำให้ทาน) การเดินทางก็ไม่ลำบาก การขับรถกลางคืนก็ต้องระวัง เพราะ ทางเข้าเป็นโค้ง น้ำทะเลใสมากๆ

You get what you paid for

This is an ok hotel, but you get what you pay for. But the location is really awesome, so I would recommend it for one or two night if you aren’t planning on spending a lot of time in the room.

Enligt Hotels.com så ska det finnas två restauranger. Vad vi kunde se så hade den ena inte vart öppen på länge, helt igenbommad, den andra hade öppet vissa tider för frukost/lunch/middag. Vill du göra något annat än ligga vid poolen måste du hyra en moppe eller ta taxi. Det finns inga andra restauranger inom gångavstånd. Det funkar inte nått bra att bada i havet då stranden är obefintlig och vattnet är leraktigt.

It was a super positive surprise when we arrived in the Buri Hut Resort. When booking the room we did not expect much because of the good (low) Price we got for our room (every room has the same size, small concrete and cozy Bungalow). But the complete Resort is in a very good condition and the rooms has everything you Need. Breakfast can be booked additionally and it was always good. The hosts/personell is SUPER friendly and they also pick you up and send to the peer if you like. We will come back again for sure!

Supernöjda!

Jag och en till kompis (21 år gamla) bodde på Buri Hut i 3 nätter och trivdes jättebra. Sängarna var jättesköna, det var bra air condition och allt var fräscht. Det ingick frukost på morgonen och den var inte heller något att klaga på! Personalen på resorten var jättetrevliga och serviceminded dom också, hjälpte till med karta över ön och ringde taxi åt oss hela tiden. Vi var mycket nöjda med detta som ett av stoppen på vår backpack-resa!

good stay

A bit far from anything so you will need a vehicle to visit other areas and beaches because the beach looks very bad. But there is a cool infinity pool! Nice restaurant and breakfast made to order.very good wifi. Very cool huts, very cozy, massive bathroom with separate shower but it was full of mosquitos, we killed like 15. Bet then we did not see any more. Very helpful staff, the 2 ladies in reception helped us with the motorbike, luckily they had a honda tricycle, easier than a motorbike as we've never drove one, they let us try some normal ones but the tricycle was super cool and much easier ans safer!

Lieu éloigné de tout. A partir de 16 h plus de personnel excepté à l'accueil. Débauche à 16 h et plus de chauffeur donc plus de taxi pour se rendre au port. Pas de restauration après 14h et 21h, Quand je suis arrivée j'ai attendu plus d'une heure l'arrivée du taxi de l'hôtel. Restauration pas à la hauteur service idem, personnel pas formé et tenue vestimentaire négligée. Gros potentiel très mal exploité et géré. Mobilier plastique sur terrasse des chambres très sales et ne s'intègre pas à l'environnement. Pourquoi ne sont-il pas en bambou qui respecteraient le lieu. Plage inexistante et pas entretenue.....La personnel excepté à l'accueil, ne parle pas un mot d'anglais difficile de se faire comprendre et peu accomodant. Très déçue d'avoir réservé 5 nuits et d'être obligée de rester dans ce lieu.

A paradise resort on a paradise island

I've been lucky enough to spend a few days in this cute resort during the low tourist season, meaning that there was only a few guests on the grounds besides us. It was very quiet and pleasant. The hotel staff was excellent very curteous and helpful. The restaurant serves nice food and it has a nice patio overlooking the sea. The resort is located in a secluded bay therefore it's a bit remote from the other restaurants and convenience stores on the island but it's not a problem if you like walking or biking. You can even rent a scooter from the resort staff. The garden view rooms are a bit small if you travel with more than 2 people or have a lot of luggage, but for two people it's all right. Beaches are small but clean. There is an old pier at the end of the resort where you can take romantic strolls and sit down at the edge of the water for some stargazing at night. There are a few beautiful kitties around the hotel, they'll make you nice company if you're friendly towards them.

Отличный отель, приятная територрия, утопающая в зелени. Чистые, уютные бунгало, красивый вид. С прирса позвонили в отель - в течение 5 мин организовали бесплатный трансфер. На ресепшене русский молодой человек - все показал и рассказал. Далековато от цивилизации, пешком не выйти, только на байке, но дорог на острове практически нет, нужно быть очень опытным водителем. В 10 вечера все закрывается, так что успевайте выпить и покушать)) но так по всему острову. Море есть, но купаться желания в нем нет, однако отличный бассейн компенсирует неудобства. Если ищете тихое местечко, не требовательны к пляжу и готовы к мотоприключением - то отель для вас.

Far from everything

Buri Hut is pretty far from everything and a moped or a Bicykle is necessary. The beach is horrible, The restaurang is ok. The bungalows has no wifi if they are to far from The restaurant.
