I rarely write reviews (especially if I had a positive experience). However, in this case, I felt really compelled to write on. This is a smaller hotel, 1 block from the beach in Knokke and family run. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. They are very accommodating with special requests. The breakfast is very nice with many sweet little details (no pun intended) and plenty of choice. The room we stayed in accomodated the three of us very well. We had very...

Hotel was very clean and staf was very friendly.

We loved meeting the owners and buying their own champagne!

Wonderful!

Fine three star hotel in shopping area of Knokke. A bit of a walk to the beach area but doable. Parking can be tricky in this area, but train station area nearby. Air conditioning in room was very helpful given hot weather. Helpful staff.

The room was perhaps a little smaller than usual, but well appointed and very clean. Location superb. Breakfast was enormous - I think very few could eat all that was on offer. Great Stay will definitely visit again.

Excellent

They have a beautiful patio right on a canal. Our room was large and comfortable. It is just a short walk to the main square and several museums. Everyone speaks English and both the hotel staff and people on the street were very helpful.

This may be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. First of all, I love history and so you are staying where King Charles II had his castle. Secondly, the breakfast was amazing. Third, the rooms had beautiful chandeliers with high ceilings. And finally the wellness area had a lovely sauna room. The hotel was so close to all the picturesque spots. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our time at Hotel de Castillion. Every detail is thought of. The owners/staff are amazing, so helpful and really took care of us. The room was beautiful as are the grounds. Having breakfast in the cellar was such a fun experience. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne in the courtyard and it was like a fairytale.

Bruges is a fairytale and this hotel is a fairytale in the fairytale. It is a gorgeous jewel box boutique hotel that was worth every penny. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bruges.

Perfect spot 50 meters from the center of town.

Very confortable but to carry my bags to my room was awful . Stairs to get to the lobby and the elevator and stairs again from the elevator to my room NO HELP AT ALL We are seniors and could not carry around , should think of this .

Great hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet excellent and many options to choose from. Walkable distance from train station and all major landmarks. Rooms comfortable, spacious and clean. I will stay here again
