"Great hotel in Kuah. We booked this hotel after a bad experience at another hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was just amazing. Nice spacious room with a view of the pool. There are plenty of shops and food places near by however it is far from the beach."

"What an IDYLLIC place to stay while vacationing on this beautiful island of Langkawi. The owner/manager Mr. T is super friendly as are the entire staff. Mr. T knows Langkawi like the back of his hand, and will guide you to every attraction in Langkawi. For the price we paid, we were surprised that breakfast was included. And they offer a proper breakfast, not just cereal and toast. The menu is a la carte and you may choose a different option everyday. Plus there is exotic fresh fruit, pastries,...

"This hotel is horrible! The staff were friendly. The air conditioning in the room is awful. You have to beg for clean towels and toilet tissue. The buffet breakfast disappeared after the 2nd day of our 20 day stay. It was replaced with cold eggs, soggy cold French fries and hot dogs. De Baron resort is much nicer and about the same price. I will stay there next time! This hotel is filthy and in severe disrepair."

"Convenient to places of interest however hotel need update, carpet was worn n burned by iron. Hotel should also provide hand and face towel to guest. The breakfast cost was not at par with the food provided but the staff in reception and restaurant were fantastic"
