「We stayed in a double room off the courtyard and it was lovely. Especially Loved the duo of local music in the bar area with Carmel Dempsey who has such a beautiful voice. Staff were very accommodating and drove us down to the Ashford Castle for a peek. Breakfast was delicious. In Cong took 'The Quiet Man' movie tour which is not to be missed! Ate dinner in Pat Cohan's bar which is featured in the John Wayne movie.」

「First experience of a hostel and I could not recommend this type of accommodation enough. Wow value for money very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with this wonderful hospitality team. Yes, the lodge is in the middle of nowhere but that’s the point. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. 」

「Friendly staff, clean hotel in a neat area with good views from our room. Food at the bar was very good as well with nice patio seating that overlooks the bay.」

「This was our first time in Westport and was part of a roadtrip through Ireland. Westport was by far our favorite. The hotel had convenient FREE parking on site, rooms had all the amenities you needed and was in walking distance to the main shopping areas. Staff was extremely welcoming and the breakfast that was included with our stay was amazing. 」
