「Had to ask to be moved from the first room. Air conditioner was blowing hot air and noisy. Desk was rude and unhelpful. Check out desk person was clueless. Breakfast looked good and well stocked.」

「Went to Black Rock for dinner. 30 minute wait, half the tables were empty. Once seated, at least 15 minutes before greeted by the bartender , who was great. Food was ok, definitely overpriced. My Filet looked and tasted exactly like my friend’s Sirloin. They need help.」

「I booked the room because it had a refrigerator. When we got there the one that was in the room was not working. And they put another one in that worked initially but by morning all of our food was hot. We had to throw it all out. And we found out the next morning that the door never locked. Anyone at any time could just push it open. The Continental breakfast was an absolute joke.」

「The room was newly renovated and beautifully decorated. It was spotless, and the bathroom was very well appointed with fluffy gray towels. The staff was wonderfully friendly and it was easy to park and get to the local sights. For all of this, the price was incredibly reasonable.」

「The property is rundown. In the past the Ojibway was a very nice hotel but currently there is a lot of deferred maintenance.」

「Stayed in one of the "cabins", and it was a good value for the price. Not in the best shape with bubbling wallpaper, older furniture and stained curtains, but the bed was very comfortable, AC was loud but worked great, it was a good-sized room and the water pressure in shower was great. However, the shower drain could not keep up with the water pressure.」

「A very convenient hotel in Brimley. The staff are very courteous and friendly. nWe felt at home as soon as we arrived. The room had a nice view of the river. We will definitely stay thereb again.」
