We had a pleasant 2 night stay at Lacepede Bay Motel mostly thanks to Kelly, the manager who made this possible. Nothing was too much for her. Would definitely stay again.

Although needing a bit of an update, we had a large room with access to a balcony overlooking the sea. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. A real bonus was the swimming pool which was clean and lovely after a long drive. Very reasonably priced as well.

did not like anything key did not work without a lot of effort. we booked the motel because it had a restaurant to find it was closed. will not go back. bathroom had what looked like and smelt like mould in deteriorating corner.

This is a tired outdated motel. A sign advertised it was for sale. It needs considerable investment. The restaurant was closed. Room carpet was dirty, incl a dead insect on the floor. Bed at least was comfy and linen clean. Room smelled of stale air and masking air freshener. There are no outside windows, the windows open onto an enclosed verandah. To vent the room, the door needed to be open. This was a 'superior' room with a supposed sea view, only possible from the shared verandah, which also had a stale air smell. Kingston SE is dead from early evening, very limited choice of restaurants. It wasnt even cheap. My advice, avoid and stay in Robe.
