Elegant country house in a gorgeous pastoral setting overlooking a beautiful lake. The church on top the hill was simple but elegant. The wedding house had gorgeous views overlooking the pastures and lake.

Magical Whitestone Inn
Although we only stayed for two nights our time there was wonderful. Even though one of those nights they had a water main brake and they weren’t able to provide their usual dinner meal, they were provided sandwiches free of charge. The place was gorgeous and the staff friendly, especially their host Bob. His kindheartedness turned the place from wonderful to truly magical. Our stay at Whitestone was definitely one of the highlights of our trip across eastern Tennessee.

A beautiful property with breathtaking views of the Watts-Bar Lake. Plenty of activities and the meals were delicious. We had a wonderful time. Very relaxing. Bob was a great host and we definitely plan to return.

When paying 260 a night for a room ,I expect house cleaning daily. I expect fresh towels daily. There is no mention on thier website that there is no alcohol served on site and no alcohol consumption in public places. NO MENTION.

Hi Daniel, Excellent service is something we strive for and we are sorry we did not exceed your expectations.We are an alcohol free facility and it is stated on our website, however I can understand your frustration with that not being disclosed on our page here on Expedia. Which is something that I will be adding.
We were slightly understaffed with housekeeping this weekend so we apologize for the delay in getting your towels to you.But not to make an excuse, just to give an explanation.
Once again, sorry your stay was not a 5 star experience and if there is anything we can do on our end to make things right, please don’t hesitate to call our front desk.

Our time at the White Stine Inn was the best get away we have ever had. Ownership is changing and spent real quality time with husband/wife new owners. They have real great plans on how to make a great experience even better.

What a beautiful place!
We booked last minute through hotels.com and the staff weren’t expecting us when we arrived. We were placed in an emaculate room with a gorgeous view (the Iris room). It was obviously in a private home because there were personal items in the common areas and the kitchen was bare save some outdated decaf coffee and signs of mice. There were dozens of toiletries-all yellowed lotions and shower caps. The WiFi password I was given didn’t work. This room isn’t on the website so I suspect it isn’t used often. In spite of the shortcomings we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. We’ll go back but book ahead next time.
