"It is an old house, don’t go in with high expectations of a 5 star hotel. The bed was comfortable, ease of getting in and out of house was easy. The lady was so nice I hate rating place so badly. I swear the bathroom had a mold smell. The driveway is quite steep and only a small amount of spots to park in. The yard needs cleaned up. Debris and old parts everywhere. The front doesn’t look like the actual pictures ( think some AI was used). My family stayed there also and did think there was a mildew smell also in their unit. Would I pay those prices to stay there again? Absolutely not."

"I love how rustic the decor is, the dog friendly policy was my ultimate favorite. My puppy, boyfriend and I had a marvelous time and stay. The staff was wonderful helped me with trails, the restaurant food was delightful and so was the bar. Will be coming back!!"

"If you are looking for a very peaceful, serene getaway to completely reset, book this place immediately. The quiet, beautiful atmosphere makes it a true sanctuary.The hospitality here is next level. Jackie was incredibly nice and welcoming from start to finish. Jonathan went out of his way to take gorgeous birthday pictures for me the second I asked. The absolute hero of my trip was Kristine, who literally saved me when I found myself stranded in the middle of nowhere!This team protects your peace of mind, I am telling everyone about this gem, and I am definitely coming back to the Emerson!"

"Staff is very friendly, it looks like a lot of people actually live here, we checked in late, the desk is manned 24 hours, which is convenient. The room is nothing special, furniture is run down, rug is gross, but bed and pillows are comfy, sheets and towels clean. TV stuck on one channel...Room is spacious though, and even with all the dogs and seeming live-ins hanging about, it was very quiet, so we could get a good rest. Breakfast is oatmeal, packaged pastries, granola bars, OJ and coffee. Convenient location at the right price for a one-night stay. On the way out I saw rooms that had vinyl flooring, and the photo online shows newer furniture. I guess we got an unrenovated room..."
