「Check in was great. The hotel is beautiful and great location. But our toilet didn’t work and when I called I was told that the maintenance guy was on holiday. With no resolution offered until I insisted that we really needed a working toilet. Then we were moved to another room and the rest of the stay was great. It was just a bit off putting that it sounded like we were expected to be fine with a non working bathroom」

「Nice hotel with a great location near Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline Abbey, the park and other businesses. Nice staff and good restaurant. The rooms were fine but a person has to understand older hotels don't have elevators in many instances, so plan for that.」

「The room itself was actually comfortable … so thank you. That said, the shower tray did not drain (yuk). The view from the room was pretty bad and the curb appeal of the property poor. This seems to be a growing trend in the UK and is saddens me … owners and operators need to find a little time to do these things if they want my money. Sorry … but I can’t avoid these points being made!」
