"The room was clean and neat and small. The bed took up half the room. There wasn't space for luggage so we placed the bags on the bed to change. Conveniently located close to St Stephen's Green park and Trinity College."

"The stay was very good. We managed to get an early check-in, which was excellent because we were with our 2 and a half month old baby. Good bed, good shower in the bathroom, I only missed having a mini-fridge in the room and during the night we heard a lot of noise coming from the hallway, which shouldn't happen because it said the room was soundproof."

"This is a newer facility than the other Clayton in Ballsbridge. Liked having control of the thermostat in the room. Bed was nothing outstanding. It was fairly quiet, which we loved. The rooms are large so we liked that. Not a bad stay for one night."

"Great location, just opposite The Square and right beside the Luas stop. We stayed overnight for a show in the 3 arena...literally door to door service on the Luas!! Staff were super friendly. The bedroom was spacious with large comfy bed. Breakfast at 12.50 was excellent value and the fresh fruit salad was the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back again! "

"The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Room was spacious. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was also great. Would definitely recommend. "

"For a four-star hotel, the property is beginning to show signs of wear and would benefit from a refurbishment. That said, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. My main issue was with the evening meal. I had a prawn salad to start and beef featherblade for the main. Unfortunately, the prawn salad was poor — the prawns were heavily coated in Marie Rose sauce that appeared to have separated. I felt unwell the following day, which I suspect may have been linked, although I cannot say for certain. The featherblade was also disappointing. It was overcooked, very tough, and the gristle had not broken down as expected. After a few bites, I returned the dish and asked for it to be removed from the bill. Given the experience, I chose not to have breakfast the next morning. Overall, while the staff were pleasant, the hotel would benefit from both a refresh of the décor and improvements in food quality and consistency."
