"The location is great and the accommodation is generally good. We had to get the taps fixed and get the weighing scales working. Our real problem was the food - not interesting, not well prepared. In a place like that, food is very important. Also, we informed the hotel two months before we went that there would be 3 people and not 4, but the hotel didn't reply, didn't pay any attention, and have refused to refund the cost of the fourth person. When we were there they promised to do something but didn't. This should have been a wonderful stay, but it wasn't. And it wasn't cheap. Disappointing."

"It was a nice and quiet hotel, exactly what we needed for our first few days on Zanzibar. Staff were good and food was lovely. "

"A smaller hotel but with provided a great experience. The staff were outstanding from reception to the bar. The rooms were very cool (we had a family room) and large, clean and very well appointed. The restaurant always looked good with many options enough to satisfy kids too. The kids also loved the pool & table tennis games room. The Dive centre in the hotel was also excellent and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It all worked well. Just over an hour from the airport but plenty stuff to do at or near hotel with Mnemba Island just a short boat ride away!"

"Amazing property. Secluded, with incredible views. With only 17 bungalows, if you want privacy and tranquility this is your place. The food is delicious, the staff accommodating (the dining staff extended lunch time by an hour just to accommodate us). Eclectically cool decor. Affordable luxury... highly recommend"
