「The staff were polite and friendly, especially the young lady who ran through our room facilities. The car park at the rear was a bonus to be off the main road. The room was generally very clean, just some stains on part of the showers grout and dust behind the bed. The room was warm and comfortable with a set of drawers as a wardrobe wouldn't fit. 「Parking available at the property, nice village location. Room was nice with period features (although disappointed the 4-poster bed not there as advertised). Food from the pub was delicious although you could hear the noise from downstairs - this didn't particularly bother us but be aware if an early or light sleeper that the rooms are above the bar. Overall we enjoyed our stay. 」

「Very friendly welcome and a lovely little hotel. Excellent price and a nice big room. The only issue was the heating seemed to be broken in the room so there was a small space heater. It was difficult to gauge what setting to have the heater on and so I woke in the middle of the night very hot and had to adjust it. The bathroom was also very cold.
