"I have not been to many properties in Matheran, but I would say this is an ideal property for a fun vacation it is located over from the hustle and bustle of the city and you feel like you’re in the quiet hills cottage. The property is old, but very well preserved and staff is very courteous and very helpful. "I never write bad reviews however I feel like I need to warn others- this place was so bad that we didn't stay our second night even though we didn't get a refund, and we had to get a driver to take us somewhere else and pay for another hotel. It was not clean, the service was terrible, and there were signs in one of the public bathrooms on the property with signs containing sexual innuendos and one about masturbation. I was so disturbed for my kids to see that and I just wanted to get out of...
