「very nice surprise, a lot of history to the place especially if you are into the anglo boer war, Paul Kruger etc. Met the owner, Robert Forsyth, very nice and friendly person, full of knowledge about South African History. The room we were in was very spacious, it also included a sizeable bathtub. 「The lodge was very clean and tidy. The owner and security made me feel very welcome and safe and nothing was to much to ask. The property has a hike up the ridge behind for great views. You could if you wanted to hike to mountain sanctuary its about 2 hours there and another 2 hours back. It was well located just off a main road. Giraffe, Zebra all came onto property to feed on the land which was quite exciting.」
