The location is amazing, right off of Duval street. The grounds were quaint. The pool was very small and the rooms were even smaller.
When the guest service person was a lunch, there is no one to help you check-in. But when I messaged them through the Expedia app. they responded immediately. Once you check in, you have to park a block away, even though there is a lot right next door.
When you open the door to the room, you almost hit the bathroom sink with the door. You have to follow it all the way open to get into the room. Very little space to move around, and two pieces of luggage do not fit comfortably. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were even worse. The sidewalk is literally right next to the wall of the building, so we could hear people talking through the window.
The staff were very friendly and responsive, but i really didn't have to interact with them much. The A/C was not very cold, and the fan made a steady humming noise the entire time.
The grab and go breakfast was decent, but then you had to leave your plates in a small sink for someone to come by and wash them. This seemed a little unsanitary to me.
It was a nice stay, but for what I paid, I could have stayed at a larger hotel with more amenities and more comfort. I am not sure that I would return.
