"I booked this for the spa and pool. When I got there it was booked out for an event 8:30am-5:30pm both days. I got up at 7:30am to use the pool before the event, I was told I couldn't and managed to convince the man working there to let me in. He said I could only use the pool and 10 mins max and not to use the spa. Very disappointing. Especially since the sign said the event started 8:30am and technically I had a whole hour to use the spa. "

"No air conditioning in the rooms, very basic. Did not like the camera’s / alarm sensors in the bathroom was a bit weird. Makes you wonder if they are watching you in the bathroom. "

"The grounds were lovely, the bar was good when open. Admittedly we stayed on a midweek, off season stay with no staff onsite at night and the bar closed at 7.00 pm, we were the only people using the pool and it was very peaceful, with beautiful sunsets to enjoy with a glass of wine. A quick drive to town to enjoy all Beechworth has to offer. The double room was clean and the bed comfortable but very small, almost central London size, would definitely choose a larger room next time. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay here, it was relaxing and very quiet at night, which made it easy to unwind. The location is great! A short 20min drive to Albury and a short walk down to the lake. You can also drive onto the sand/dirt if needed. The oneway roads around the cabins make getting in and out simple, and the key-fob gate access is very convenient and much easier than having to remember a code! The staff were lovely and very responsive. From a little GPS error (I fixed on google maps) upon arrival, calling the after hours number was simple and answered quickly. + When the smoke detector started beeping continuously for about 30 minutes, I called to request a battery replacement and it was fixed within 10 minutes. They also quickly provided extra dish soap when requested, which was appreciated! The bed was comfortable, although the bedroom itself is quite small. Be careful when making the bed or walking around it, as the drawers can catch you if you’re not paying attention. While overall the stay was enjoyable, some extra attention to cleaning would improve the experience. The kitchen blinds were dirty, along with the top of the fridge and some dishes. I actually left the place cleaner than when I arrived. No big deal for me, I enjoy cleaning, but for someone who doesn't attention is needed. Overall, I would recommend this place for singles, couples, and families looking for a peaceful and convenient stay. The air is fresh, views are lovely. I'll be back! ❤️"

"It was ok, room door faced a service station opposite which felt a little exposed, bed was comfortable, bedding clean but the bathroom was so run down and in need of a refresh that I didn’t want to use the shower as the base looked grotty. Don’t believe the pictures online!"
