"The quality inn & suites in Lufkin Texas is poorly managed and not properly cleaned up to the standards of a good hotel. I stayed recently on may 18th 2026 and found ticks in the room by the shower and when brought up they tried to just kill it and not do anything about it..watch where you book..sometimes cheaper isn’t better."

"Sign said pool was closed but they didn't stop us from using. It was a little cloudy but didn't smell or look bad. If Hotels.com would have told me about this when I booked I may have stayed elsewhere. Jessica at the front desk was helpful with the area and food choices and anything we needed. She deserves a raise ."

"Staff was great at check in. Room was very clean Hot tun in the room only had 2 working jets and it shut off shortly after we started it. Ac unit wasnt work great but it was cool in the room. Around midnight a group of young adults stood in the hallway screaming and yelling for about 30 minutes then was room jumping and slamming doors. It finally calmed down and everything was back to a perfect romantic night."

"Stayed here previously without issues. This time was different. First room had an awful smell. Staff did change our room. Second room also had a very odd smell (like maple syrup) but was not disgusting like the first. When showering, we noticed mold on ceiling (took pics). Breakfast next morning was luke-warm to cold. I even asked to refill the sausage gravy because it was empty, but it was cold. Left message for manager to call me. No call received after 4 days. I called again and left a second message...24 hours later still not call back. Disappointing."
