"This hotel is not perfect, my biggest complaints were there were cobwebs in corners meaning their cleaning staff only flips the room and doesn't look at the little things, and there was no exhaust fan in our room, so it seemed to stay damp especially after a shower. We were there for 3 nights and I did not find anything a traveler would find worry some like bugs or mold. The staff were all great! Very friendly and attentive and great with my daughter, she is 6 and full of questions for everyone. I was not aware when I chose this hotel that as well as a pool there is a deck overlooking some kind of body of water like a marsh or estuary and it was beautiful! The staff is also working on some major maintenance trying to update and clean up the property and they are doing a great job. I would say with the budget pricing and its proximity to attractions (2 minutes from Cedar Point, 20 minutes to the ferry to Put In Bay and 25 minutes to Marblehead) it is well worth your consideration to stay there."
