「It was a lovely place to stay, the host was great, answered all my questions and the place was very clean. A very safe residential neighborhood, the highway is a little bit away, but the ocean is closer and every day you can go out on your balcony/porch and watch the whales and the dolphins.」

「The condo is clean, next to a great swimming and snorkel beach, and has everything you need (pots, dishes, towels etc.). The property itself is old and needs some work, but the condo has been remodeled beautifully. I would recommend a small AC unit for the hot afternoons, but the evenings did cool off nicely. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again!」

「Guy running the place has knowledge that can make your stay bounce from great to greatest. Yes he has some rules but his place for three days cost me less then one night at Prop 19 in Kona and was a lot better stay. 「If you want an experience and not a hotel, this is a good place to consider. Don’t complain if you wanted a Marriott; it’s not the Marriott. The hostess and host are kind and genuine. The lodging is nestled in a neighborhood, but it feels almost like a jungle. The shower is outside and is reasonably private. Don’t mind the geckos lingering nearby as you enjoy fresh fruit for breakfast.」

「The host was very friendly, and shared some great tips for visiting the Hilo area. Check-in/out instructions were helpful and easy to follow. The building itself is a little tired and could use some updating/cleaning. The unit was well equipped and cozy. 「The hotel reminded me of a Motel 6. The staff is excellent and very friendly, Had the most comfortable bed I've ever had at a hotel. Slept really well. Was a couple minutes from the airport and close to plenty of parks and places to eat. Would recommend getting a rental car so you can enjoy the whole island. 「So far was a good hotel for stay in Hilo. The only thing was bad experience, there was fire emergency alarm at 3:00 am to wake up every body and let’s waking down from stairs. Next day was no explaining what happened that night. 」
