Excellent Stay in Poros

Very warm greeting from Nektaria.A brilliant studio room on 3rd floor reached by elevator with refrigerator and cooker in separate rooms. Everything was spotlessly clean. Separate air condtioning in each room. The hotel is very central within a two minute walk to the beach, tavernas and shops. Breakfast is available in the hotel and can include fresh eggs from the host's Vasilis's, farm.

The lady was very rude, she came and told us to be quiet and then 10 minutes later they were talking loudly and making lots of noise until the early hours of the morning. The hotel was very fresh and clean though, and a very nice big room with a big balcony.

Weekend at Poros

The room where I stayed, was a really comfortable apartment. Apart from a twin bed it also included a couch located in a sitting room, a fully equipped kitchen, two balconies, and a big bathroom. Both the apartment and the common use places of this hotel were very clean. The owner of this small hotel, is a real gentleman, extremely friendly and polite. The hotel is located close to the port and the center of the town of Poros.

J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel pour une semaine avec deux de mes amies l'année dernière, en plein mois de juillet. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce lieu familial, le personnel est très sympathique et agréable, tout est propre et organisé pour que tout se déroule au mieux. Nous avions loué une voiture pour la semaine afin de pouvoir découvrir l'île et il a été très facile pour nous de garer la voiture, peu importe l'heure à laquelle nous rentrions. L'hôtel est situé à quelques mètres seulement de la plage et du port avec donc des accès très faciles pour se rendre aux restaurants, magasins, pharmacie, souvenirs, etc... ce qui est très agréable après une longue journée sur les routes et en visite. Le gérant est un monsieur très gentil et généreux qui je pense avait à coeur de s'assurer que nous allions bien, et nous avons passé d'agréables moments à discuter avec lui. Merci encore car c'était une super expérience pour nous que nous nous remémorons régulièrement !

Hotel agréable

Εξυπηρετικό για διαμονή κοντά στο λιμάνι του Πόρου. Καλό θα ήταν να αποφύγετε δωμάτιο που βλέπει στην εμπρός μεριά όπου διέρχεται ο κεντρικός δρόμος γιατί υπάρχει θόρυβος από βαριά οχήματα.

A beautiful hotel and a great stay

The Odysseus Palace was a beautiful place to stay for vacation. We are a family of four and our room was amazing. We had a separate bedroom for us, adults, and the children were sleeping in a spacious living room. We also had a full kitchen and a dining area, a huge terrace that connected our master bedroom and living room, and a separate balcony off our dining and living room. There was also a common area where we could sit and visit with our cousins who were on the other side of the hallway. The hotel has a restaurant and we had breakfasts there that were amazing - organic eggs and bacon, and fresh bread, with squeezed orange juice and good Greek coffee. Our host Vasilis was great and his English was good. He called the port in Fiscardo and arranged a ferry ride from Kefalonia to Lefkada for us. We needed a reservation and we didn't have one. Always have a ferry reservation in a pick holiday season. We didn't stay long in Poros but we loved it. I highly recommend Odysseus Palace if you plan to stay in Poros. The beach was just 100 m away, and there is a shop just a door down from the hotel where you can buy everything you need for the sea. The couple that we met in the shop were amazing. Great place and even better people - Kalimera, Kalispera, Kalinihta, and Ta Lemexana.

The owner was wonderfully friendly and helpful, offered us a drink and mezedaki on arrival and coffee and koulouri in the morning. The room was large, more of a suite, with good views. Couldn't be better.
