「This was the most horrible experience i have ever had. First the room i booked and paid for was not given. I was given a small room even though i paid for a big family room. The owner was so rude he said to cancel the booking when i complaint about the room sizes and refused to refund. This whole stay is a scam. The room was dirty and full of SPIDERS and Cockroaches. I would not wish this stay on my worst enemy. Avoid this place, camp in your car but not here」

「very nice property」

「This is a property with a breathtaking view of the Ooty huills and valleys. The cottages are good although they now require a fresh coat of paint inside. Food is decent and the breakfast spread is very good and so is the dinner buffet. Hotel staff are helpful and response to the calls is quick. Hot water timings are restricted in the mornings and evenings but that's not too much of an issue. The hotel helped us with a immersion rod beyond the normal timings so that was very helpful. 「Morning breakfast good but it not enough for adults.no tooth paste, tooth brush,no fan,.not worth the money We spent.」

「Bathroom is bad. No water supply properly in the basin. As shown in the picture bathtub is not at all usable. Infact bugs are in the bathroom. No telephone in the room and unfortunately there are not even staff available to seek help. I had to go searching for them. No Internet even after asking for them. Only positive about the place is the lawn. It’s not worth the price 」

「The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving! 」
