Very easy to check in, room was spacious and air conditioning worked well. Room a bit dated and door very hard to open and close. Ok for one night on a budget.

The staff was wonderful. Actually there qas was only one housemaid who did the work of MANY. Rooms extremely clean. Being a bit weighty, the towels were BIG., Most places you stay at have towels that just fit "normal" size. I have never stayed in a pkace with a tv that had sooooo many choices of movies. The bottle shop and a very decent cafe were in walking distance. I didn't go in the pool, but i watched, they cleaned the pool every morning. Yes,, if ever I get the chance to visit Katherine NT Australia, I will stay at the Stuart hotel.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here. The host and other guests were very friendly. We were able to check in early and check out late (quiet time of the year I think) which really helped us out. It felt very safe with locked doors between the street and the hotel common areas. The pool was huge and clean, with deck chairs around. The room itself was quiet, clean and comfortable, with microwave and toaster that worked well. The laundry facilities were added cost (use $1 coins only) but were open all hours which was convenient. Would stay here again :)

We worried about security as carrying a trailer with work equipment; place was secure with locked gate. Nice refreshing pool, very clean unit and comfortable bed! Our room hadn’t been used for a bit as the dishes were a bit dusty but easy enough to clean. Didn’t have any contact with staff (so marked average 3stars as couldn’t comment) apart from online but did meet the lovely owners who were visiting from Victoria (same as us!)

Breakfast was included in the price but unfortunately had to walk 3 blocks away to another Hotel. Manager was kind enough to let us use the room until later in the day as we had to wait for the bus, and there was nowhere in Katherine to store lugguage.

Do not stay there, limited parking which means you park out on street at your own risk, no one on site - not a good idea, noisy next to pub. Did not feel comfortable with the area at all and did not stay, lost our money, but was not comfortable staying there.

We arrived early and because our room was not ready, we were given another so we could settle in. Jean-Claude was very pleasant and helpful. Self check-in was easy. Breakfast was very good but you do have to go to another motel a couple of blocks away. Not a problem for us but useful to know beforehand.
